Jesper Løwe
In november we had a call from swedish co land rover fan Edfor5 that they where passing though denmark, on their way to UK to pick up spares. We ordered a rear door, and had it delivered to the door A hosrebox packed with Land rover spares Come winter was the time to refurbish the rtt. The straps holding the canvas to the closed tent had snapped on the way home from overlanding.nu expo. Removedthe old straps and rivetted new D rings to the underside of the tent. (forgot to take after picture.) Replaced the nuts and bolts holding the tentbase to the rails that go on the roof rack. Made a hughe difference in the roofrack/tent/rig rattle when going offroad
Jesper Løwe
Having installed the 2din headunit a very long ago, it was time to finish the reverscam installation. Having bought a new trailer I also wanted a 13 way trailer plug i normally dislike them because they are a horses a... to do field repairs on. Sadly the Cam couldn´t be situated above the tow hitch. 3
Jesper Løwe
Next up.. Cure the dashboard ratel... I knew that i had stashed 2 parts there without tying them down. Simcard for the Diesel Heater Digital Unit for the Tripmeter So took out all of the dash and made a mount for both on the "sidewall" Job done and the on to another "mystic" task. The right side speaker has always been blowing of hot air when ever the heater was on.. After some investigation, i found the mishap.. 😕 Square hole behind the panel is from the heater. Round hole is for a speaker before AC unit, (speaker has been moved into the AC unit.) So clearly the heater blows air into a duct behind the speaker, and no one bothered to patch this hole when they fitted the AC to car. (might be all back at the factory) With no room to work without dismantling the AC unit... I Still managed to get a sheet of aluminum fixed over the hole... And now all of a sudden the air comes out in all the right places So defrosting might be twice the speed in the winter

Jesper Løwe
Still waiting for parts for the heater project.. Bought some other accessories along the way 🙈 rattle stop! weather protection.. and then finally got around to do some searching on a high revs power outage.. It proved to be a Land Rover td5 issue that when the turbo overboosts it shuts down the fuel.. with this in mind I quickly found out that the watergate was very lazy.. and extremely hard to open.. “Greased up” and with a lot of exercise we back to normal. And now we are ready for a trip to the family birthday 2

Jesper Løwe
Long time since I’ve been around. To much work to little free time. Since last we had some electrical gremlins, which turned out to be an extra relay for the central locking (which still doesn’t work every time) after this the potentiometer for the throttle caused havoc when driving. Borrowed a used one for the vacation and replaced with a new one later on. long overdue is the exchange of the Webasto heater plug. The old one has loose connections. Cut, solder, heat shrink all done and working. not workshop related but the team had some personnel change. The old dog had to go to a better place. But this pup joined in September 🙈 she’s a handfull. But loving her. yet a electrical gremlin poked in on plans.. thought we had a dead battery but it tuned out to be a dead starter and the I finally managed to finish the "heater in a box" 4
Jesper Løwe
Not directly related to the Land Rover more to trips... to sweden. A new tap of the Swedish "gravel roads with national financial support" (driftsbidrag) map has risen from the ashes of a server crash. The map can be viewed as an overlay to on the ipad when there is internet connection. 3

Jesper Løwe
More than a year 😕 A lot has been going on. Mostly work, very little workshop at home. Had to send the car of to get a new 1/3 frame done befor MOT in August, we waited a month for the parts and a month for the mechanic But he made it in the end. Lately its been all repairs and no "build" I´ve been doing front discs and calipers, after a seized caliper. We are preparing the car for 3 weeks in Western Norway in the summer, som more parts will be changed. There was time for a little build project. An extendable solar panel mounted underneath the roofrack, im still missing the retaining lock and the cable chain 28B59C51-3499-46D3-AFC9-620BBC98FE3D_1_201_a.heic 38A80B06-58E5-4CA3-B8DC-52A7DE4B62BA_1_201_a.heic 2

Vi har kørt med en læs solcelle i nogle år, men nu skulle det her prøves. En fast Solcelle på køleren ville aldrig gå her da vi skal op over køleren for at pakke teltet ordentligt sammen..
Jesper Løwe
For what ist worth 2 days after my latest post the alternator went south and the car didn´t charge. On takeing the parts of i broke the 2 wires for the "smart" generator, so close to the plug that i had to solve to soldering new wires on, as the plug is nowhere to be found in europe, with less then 10 days delivery. (cant wait that long) New wires solderd in place I removed the old parts, and sent of for new ones, 2 days from England og express (thats good service from LRparts.dk) a few hours and brused knockles later the alternator is back in and we are charging 14.02 volt on idle. New alternator and belt tensionner. All done and testing 1
