First night on Gotland wasn't a planned location but it was on a small trail well protected from the weather: N 57°48.814' E 018°28.607 Second night location: N 57°56.064', E 019°05.902' On the edge of an inland lake on Fårö Third night location: N 57°45.760', E 019°001.666' Beach front location that is on Furilden Fourth night: N 57°25.073', E 018°55.511' Beach front location that was just east of Katthammarsvik Fifth night: N 57°06.003', E 018°23.444' Grassy field within meters of the waterfront in Flunting Sixth night: N 56°54.967', E 018°13.544' Beach front location in Klehammarsård Seventh night: N 57°17.805', E 018°07.715' Beach front location south of Djauvik We basically did a lap of Gotland by staying as close as possible to the coastline travelling a total of 64 mil. As many already know Gotland is a stunning island, get there and enjoy the scenery you won't be disappointed. Todd.

I realize that this is an old thread but recently we have had condensation under our mattress. The weather had a lot to play here, constant rain over 2~3 days resulted in condensation which I've never experienced before. Googling this morning I found another location for luftspaltmatta and the price seems to be the best that I've seem so far. ? http://www.abceurosoft.se/tillbehor/luftspaltsmatta/luftspaltmatta.html In the description they write that you should have the air-mat extend beyond the ends, is that what others have done or just enough for the floor? /Todd.

After last weekends offroad meet with Småland Traxx, this week there has been a massive check list to check off for overlanding Fall Meet in a few short weeks. 1) install rooftop tent 2) install awning 3) re wind the winch rope 4) skid plate under the transmission/transfer case needed the temporary shims replaced with proper welded spacers for the rear mounts 5) straightened out the steering guard that I managed to twist last weekend ? 6) install the rear springs that have air bags plus plumb the air lines 7) install the rear steps 8) fix door seal on passenger side 9) raised the solar panels rear mount to get a better angle for efficiency 10) ordered a new serpentine belt to add to the box of extra parts that I normally carry 11) moved the spare tire to the bonnet to equalize the weight 12) confirmed vacation was approved. ? Even with the list completed I'm sure that I have forgot something and there will me a mad rush the day before we head to Norway. ? Todd.

Try using "car (avoid highway)" in this mode you can add several route points to a track that you can move around but even then it's not perfect as it want's to avoid "private roads".

I have it on both my mobil and galaxy tab A 10.1 (2016) which I paid for both Sweden and Norway topo maps. I like the layout and how simple it is to use but I have found one bug with the software. After downloading the maps which are over 7.4 gig each and then updates, a few days after doing so I no longer have 100% of the maps and no longer the updates. Ive contracted their support and they simply say to download again when online. Frustrating for me as I paid for the maps and expect them to be always in my devices if I've already downloaded them. Another app that I like is Locus Maps Pro, this you can use the Topo maps for Sweden that you can download from läntmateriet. The Norwegian topo maps are not as easy though, you can download them for free in MrSid format which is not compatible and is difficult to convert to a working format. But you can download it through the app but it is restricted to 10000 files a day and it would take approx 8-12 gig of space to eventually get it all. Then with that you can't move it to your sdcard which would free up valuable space on your device......? Anyways those are the 2 apps that I'm using in both my mobil and galaxy tab A. Todd.
